Mary Stephenson joined Pathwise Leadership as Director to expand our programs in the Bay Area. She brings a mix of high tech leadership experiences and a deep understanding of the Pathwise principles.  Mary first joined Pathwise as a member in 2007 and in 2008 stepped into the roles of co-teaching and member advisement.

Mary’s career in human resources leadership and talent management has spanned 17 years in both the Silicon Valley and the Seattle area.  She began her career working in San Francisco serving Fortune 500 clients as a Senior Human Resources Consultant (with AON/Alexander Consulting Group) for clients such as Adobe Systems, Octel Communications and Acuson. In 1998, she expanded her reach into Retained Executive Search and Talent Management for several high tech and Medical Device companies in Seattle (Corbis, Calypso Medical and various non-profits).  Most recently, Mary served in several Recruiting Management roles at Microsoft across 3 divisions, including Windows Phone, Entertainment & Devices Division and the Office Marketing teams.

Her development as a leader has been deeply inspired by the Pathwise curriculum. Mary’s leadership philosophy has evolved giving her advanced understanding of human dynamics in the workplace.  She seeks to foster more understanding between people, and to create powerful partnerships with business leaders who want to maximize their ability build and grow exceptional teams.
